Christmas

We spent Christmas at home this year with just our sweet little family. It was (I was going to say quiet, but when is it EVER quiet at our house???) relaxing, fun and casual. The kids let us sleep in until 8am on Christmas morning which was nice! We opened stockings first and then dug into the presents. We took our time and ooh'ed and aah'ed over each one.

It's so easy to get everyone to cooperate and smile nicely when there are presents involved.

Josh gave Jeff a wood pen that he carved out of a block of wood in Applied Tech class. Very cool!

 Participate in a flash or freeze mob.
 Take a ceramics/pottery class.
 Donate blood.

 Spend an entire day in my PJ’s doing whatever I want (note: this will NOT include tending to the needs of my family, cooking any meals or generally lifting a finger unless it’s to turn the page in my book).

 Take my kids geocaching.
 Hike the Incline in Manitou Springs, Colorado.
 Volunteer at a homeless shelter or food pantry.
 Ride a Segway.
 Read “The Happiness Project” by Gretchen Rubin. [in progress]
 Submit one of my scrapbook layouts to be published.
 Do a duathlon with Josh.
 Spend New Year’s Eve in a different city.
 Go to Yellowstone National Park for a family vacation. [Family vacation is postponed...won't hit this goal.]
