Stay out... I mean it!

Sometimes when I am in the office, I don't want to be disturbed. Julie get this. That is why she bought me this AWESOME sign for the office door. On one side, it says "Mom will see you now". On the other side, it says "STAY OUT unless someone is on fire".


All of the kids can read it and know exactly what the sign says. I use the sign. I flip it around several times a day. The first couple times it was on "STAY OUT" and one of the kids walked in, I reminded them that I was busy and that they need to pay attention to the sign. The next time it happened, I asked "Are you on fire???" and they walked back out.

You want to know what happens now??? Mattea walks in, I give her "the look" (you know the one) and she just shrugs and says "I'm on fire" and proceeds to jump around as if she's burning up. Reaaaaaaaallllllyyy funny. Yeah, not so much. Okay, maybe a little bit.
